In 2012, Hughes, who is based in Hong Kong, was approached by her life-long friend Madderson who had decided to launch the brand after resigning from her finance job in Goldman Sachs where she had worked for twelve years. With a focus on British heritage, 90% of Madderson London’s collections are manufactured in the UK.
