Accessories designer Anya Hindmarch founded her business at the age of 18 and has since grown into a global brand renowned for exquisitely-crafted designs instilled with a sense of humour. At Look The Business 2013, in association with Vodafone, she encouraged the audience of 600 women in The Mansion House to value their unique-ness, saying “As Oscar Wilde once said, ‘Be yourself. Everybody else is taken’.”

“During the week I need a practical tote that I can carry my life in that is light… I tend to carry a few [handbags] at once so I’m prepared for wherever my day takes me – a Russian doll system. A featherweight Ebury from Resort 13 takes me everywhere – from travelling to a day in the office – within which I always have a Georgiana clutch which I use for the evening. These together with various labelled loose pockets (‘Medi kit’ for emergency headache pills, ‘Receipts’, ‘Girly Stuff’ for a little makeup’ and my ‘cables and chargers’) which makes sure I don’t forget anything!”
