You are invited to join us for a WINE LOVERS’ WEEKEND at Dromoland Castle from March 1-3 …
One of Ireland’s most luxurious hotels, historic Dromoland Castle in Co Clare, is the setting for a very special wine weekend. Running March 1-3, it’s exactly the kind of spring escape that many of us crave, combining delectable wines and delicious food with magnificent accommodation, fine views and fresh country air.
The highlight of the weekend is a sumptuous six-course wine dinner in the elegant Earl of Thomond Restaurant on the Saturday evening. THE GLOSS wine editor Mary Dowey will introduce a superb champagne and five outstanding wines, each one chosen to complement an exquisite dish by Dromoland head chef David McCann enshrining the first flavours of spring. For those who would like to join in, there is also a tour of the Dromoland wine cellar and a short wine tasting on the Saturday afternoon.
With two nights’ bed and breakfast included in the weekend, you’ll still have plenty of time to stroll in the 450-acre Dromoland estate, play golf, relax in the intimate spa or simply enjoy a cup of tea beside a roaring fire.
From €330 per person sharing a Queen Anne room, including:
two nights’ bed & breakfast • Cellar tour with wine tasting • Champagne reception
• Six-course dinner with matching wines
