A group of over 100 business women at C-suite or partner level and senior management as well as business owners, attended our inspiring “THE ART OF THE DEAL” dinner, hosted by THE GLOSS MAGAZINE in association with wealth management specialists INVESTEC, leading corporate law firm A&L GOODBODY and executive search firm MERC PARTNERS.
Speakers at the event, Aisling Dodgson, Head of Treasury at Investec; Sheena Doggett, Partner at A&L Goodbody; and Ruth Curran, Managing Partner at MERC PARTNERS focused on the key aspects of business deal-making – creating a business, selling a business, and forming the right team. Guest speaker, entrepreneur and author Jo Fairley, gave an account of her commercial journey, from founding the Green & Black’s company to its acquisition by a large global multinational. Her entrepreneurial spirit has sparked several businesses since, including The Perfume Society.
